MOSCOW, August 3. /TASS/. Russia’s Accounts Chamber has drafted a development strategy until 2024. According to the document (obtained by TASS), its key goal is to expand opportunities of meeting national targets through improvements in the country’s public audit system.
The Accounts Chamber plans to focus on achievement of four main tasks for reaching this goal. This is going to be reached through presentation of a comprehensive follow-on view of trends and risks of the country’s development.
Another area is to contribute to improvement of the efficiency of public resources management through squaring national targets, the targets of departments and strategic goal-setting documents with their resources provision, improvement of methods of formation, management of state programs’ implementation and their results’ evaluation, through a shift to a comprehensive public audit.
The Accounts Chamber also plans to strengthen the culture of publicity and transparency of the processes of public decision-making, develop reporting relationship of authorities and personal responsibility of heads of departments and organizations to the society for achievement of goals and targets.
